paying homage

atop rocks
of dim
consciousness 

upon summoning
thrush and bear cub
via poking-up crocus bulbs

lightly cleared throats
loon pairs yodeling
rich texture and varied tone 

while traveling home
endearing spring peepers 
beeping chickadees...
