" Glitter in the Gloom "

Glitter in the gloom
for flirtatious
provocateurs
like the last human
to walk solely
with the man-in-the-moon
via long-haul routes
during booms
for bridging lunar futures
hell-bent tenors sing,
" Oh Sole Mio "
"what a beautiful thing
the gentle breeze"
tree-lined streets
evening moon beams
dashes apostrophes
random misspellings
deeply entailed
within memoirs grasps
arcanely grammatical
multinational glaring
castles in the air
through spy glasses
for voyeurs
while talking and laughing
being hemmed in by walks
having gone off campus
climbing windowless stairs
feeling all entranced
by organic matter
synthesizing plants
flattened green sacs
as no accident
blue-grren algae
tenacities of trees
hardy species
subterranean
ecologies...
